Coronavirus in Czechia: Vaccine Registration for Self-Paying Foreigners Open
Good news for expats in the Czech Republic! Foreigners living in Czechia who do not have public insurance are finally able to register for their COVID-19 vaccine.
Self-paying foreigners to register
Since Friday, 11 June, self-paying foreigners can register to receive their COVID-19 vaccine. The price of the vaccine (which is Pfizer/BioNTech) should not exceed 810 CZK per 1 dose. Foreigners from EU or third-country national will be eligible if they meet at least one of those conditions:
- has a long term visa
- holder of a long-term visa
- EU citizens with a temporary residence/ long-term residence permit in Czechia
- is a family member of an EU citizen with a temporary residence/ permanent residence permit in Czechia
