Changes at the MOI Office in 2020

The new year of 2020 starts with a few changes regarding your visits to the MOI office.
You might be used to set your appointment with maybe a month in advance, just to be safe, and present the copies of the documents required. 

Well, this year, it's not like that anymore.
The MOI office will no longer be making copies of your documents other than birth certificates, marriage certificates, IDs, etc.
Next time you visit the Immigration office make sure you bring notarized copies of your documents (lease agreement, proof of accommodation, school confirmation, etc) or else, you'll have to give them originals. 
This rule applies to all EU and non-EU citizens.
